R-Zen

Short version: The R-Zen app collects no personal data. Everything you do in the app stays on your device. No accounts, no ads, and no in-app analytics — ever. The app is free; an optional one-time purchase unlocks all content and is handled entirely by Apple / Google — we never see or store your payment details.

What we do NOT collect

No personal information (name, email, age, location)
No device identifiers or advertising IDs
No usage analytics or crash reports sent to any server
No cookies or tracking pixels
No payment, card, or billing information (in-app purchases are processed entirely by the App Store / Google Play — see “In-app purchases” below)
No account registration of any kind

Data stored on your device only

R-Zen saves the following data locally on your device using the operating system's standard storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted anywhere:

Your progress, completed puzzles, and mandala saves
XP, level, achievements, and streaks
Your preferences (language, theme, sound settings, orientation)
Photos you choose to use as puzzles (stored in your device's own file system)

Deleting the app removes all of this data permanently.

Camera and Photo Library

R-Zen includes an optional feature that lets you turn one of your own photos into a puzzle. To use it, the app will request access to your device camera or photo library.

Access is only requested when you choose to use this feature.
Photos are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted.
You may deny this permission — all other app features work without it.

In-app purchases

R-Zen is free to download and play. It offers a single, optional one-time purchase ($1.99) that unlocks all premium content (the full puzzle and mandala galleries and free-draw mode). There are no subscriptions and no other purchases; future updates are free.

The purchase is processed entirely by Apple’s App Store or Google Play. R-Zen never receives, sees, or stores your name, card number, or any billing information.
Whether you own the unlock is remembered only on your device; it is also tied to your App Store / Google account by the platform so you can restore it on your other devices via “Restore purchases”.
No purchase is required to use the app, and buying the unlock sends no personal data to us.

Optional downloadable content

R-Zen may offer free, optional content packs (for example, extra mandala and puzzle sets) that are not included in the initial app download. These packs are only downloaded if you tap to download them, and the app tells you the approximate download size beforehand.

Packs contain only static content files (images and drawing data) — never executable code. They do not change how the app works, only add new sheets to the existing sections.
When you choose to download a pack, the app fetches those files over the internet from our public content repository, which is hosted by GitHub (raw.githubusercontent.com). As with any web request, the hosting provider automatically receives standard technical metadata such as your IP address and device type; we do not use this to identify you, build a profile, or track you, and we store no personal data of our own. No account or login is involved.
Downloaded packs are saved locally on your device and work offline afterwards. No account or personal information is ever required or sent.
You never have to download a pack — the app is fully playable without any of them.

Fonts

R-Zen uses the Quicksand and Dancing Script typefaces. These fonts are bundled inside the app and loaded from your device — no requests are made to Google Fonts or any external font service.

Music and sounds

All music and ambient sound files are bundled inside the app and play entirely offline. R-Zen never streams audio and never records or transmits any audio.

The soundtrack section offers optional buttons that open our album on Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube Music. Nothing plays inside R-Zen: tapping one simply hands the link to your device, which opens it in that app or in your browser. No data is sent to those services by R-Zen, and once you leave the app their own privacy policies apply.

Third-party services

R-Zen does not integrate any third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or social features. During normal use the app makes no network requests; the only time it connects to the internet is when you explicitly choose to download an optional free content pack (see “Optional downloadable content” above).

Website measurement

The RnxGames website records an anonymous download-click count when you choose an App Store download link. The request is sent to a Google Apps Script endpoint and contains no form fields, account information, or app usage data. Google may process standard network metadata such as IP address under its own privacy terms. This website measurement is separate from the R-Zen app, which does not include analytics.

Children

R-Zen does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children. Because no data is collected at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to this policy

If we ever update this policy, the new version will be published at the same URL and the "Last updated" date above will change. Since we collect no data, any changes would only reflect new features or clarifications, never new data practices.
